How do I use a Promo Code to Rent a Car?
Search the list of current Promo Codes and realize one that applies to your rental. Click on the text for that Promo Code. Browse over the small print of the Promo Code to make sure that your rental can apply. If so, click on the “Create A Reservation” button and start finishing your itinerary. The coupon code for the Promo Code you have chosen are going to be placed into the right field on Step Four of the create a Reservation method. Once you click the “Confirm Now,” button to complete the reservation, the terms of the Promo Code are going to be used for your reservation. If the Promo Code passes all validations, you will be given a confirmation number together with your Promo Code already applied. How do I use my E-Z Money Points / Credits on a Future Rental?
First, log into your E-Z Money Account. Next, scroll down or look right down to the section headed by Redeem Points. If you’ve got reached the suitable threshold of current offered points, there’ll be an area to settle on the points and credits you’d prefer to redeem. Opt for the number and press Redeem. You may then be ready to enter your itinerary and begin your search. Your request to redeem your credit can carry in conjunction with your reservation request as you proceed.
Can I remove the seat from a minivan and leave it in your possession?
Removal of the seats of a van is only permissible for a medical situations. If you or somebody in your party has such a requirement, please contact us for an invitation. Otherwise, removal of the seats isn’t permissible. Search for a rental car now.
What do I do in case of a car accident?
First, ensure that everybody concerned is okay. If somebody is injured, dial 911 immediately. Next, contact the police so the appropriate accident report can be completed. Finally, contact the rental location to tell them of the accident. The trained employees at the E-Z Rent A Car location can offer you additional directions.
Do you sell the vehicles that you no longer use?
Yes, we tend to sell a number of the vehicles we no longer use within our fleet. If you are interested in one of the cars from our fleet, or you are curious as to whether we have a specific car available, please fill out the contact form below. You’ll notice nice deals on late model vehicles with low mileage.
Who is the primary renter?
The primary renter’s name are going to be listed initial and can give the payment data, whether or not it’s credit card, check, debit card, or cash. The first renter is exclusively accountable for the vehicle that’s rented.
Do you offer additional accessories, such as handicap controls, etc?
Yes, we do. Please call ahead for availability.
What is the minimum age that you rent to?
E-Z Rent A Car rents to qualified drivers who are at least 21 years old. If you are under 25 years old, an additional fee may be required to rent with E-Z. See our Policies and Procedures section for more information. Search for a rental car now.
What are my rental vehicle responsibilities?
Damage to a Rental Car:Anyone who rents a car from E-Z Rent A Car is to return the vehicle in the same condition in which it was rented, except for expected wear and tear. Unless prohibited by state law, a renter may be liable for all damages to the rental vehicle, including loss of use, should the vehicle be damaged in an incident. This is the case regardless of fault. Whether or not you caused the accident, you may be asked to pay for the damage up to and including the total cost of replacing the vehicle in case of a total wreck or loss. Checking the vehicle before departure from the rental facility is the renter’s is responsibility, as well as upon return to the rental facility. In the event that a rental car has been involved in an incident, be sure that any estimated damage to the rental vehicle has been recorded properly before leaving the rental facility.
Rental Car Gasoline:Anyone renting a car from E-Z Rent A Car needs to bring the car back with the same amount of gasoline that was in the vehicle upon departure from the rental facility. The renter needs to check the fuel level in the vehicle before departure from the rental facility and upon return to the rental facility. If the renter doesn’t return the car with the correct amount of fuel, a refueling cost needed to return the vehicle to its proper level will be charged to the renter in addition to the estimated rental charges.
What credit cards do you accept?
American Express, Carte Blanche, Diner’s Club International, Discover, MasterCard, Optima, and Visa are accepted. Search for a rental car now.
What if I made a reservation and want to upgrade once I get to the location?
Upon arriving at the rental car location, ask the E-Z Rent A Car representative at the counter about the possibility of an upgrade. If an upgrade is available, E-Z Rent A Car representatives who are trained to help you find the rental vehicle which will best fit your needs.
I don’t know what car rental to reserve? Can you help me choose?
What should I do if I lost something in the vehicle?
E-Z Rent A Car is not responsible for items possibly left in the rental car. However, if an item is found, it will be turned into lost and found at the corresponding rental location. Please contact the location from which you rented for more information.
How do I add an additional driver to my rental? Is there a fee?
You can request an extra driver be added to your reservation at the time of pickup with your rental agent. The additional driver needs to be present and qualify in the same manner as the primary driver. Additional driver charges may vary based on your location. The fee will not be waived unless the renter is disabled and accompanied by an authorized driver.
Is a deposit required when I rent a car with E-Z?
Everyone is subject to a $200 deposit/authorization regardless of payment method. The deposit will be charged to the same card that is used to pay for the vehicle.
What do I do if my vehicle is not working properly?
Call the branch location where you rented the car from immediately. Phone numbers can be found on the Locations web page. The agents at the specific location will be able to help you and tell you what to do. If you can’t reach or are unable to contact the rental location, you may call the E-Z Rent A Car reservation center at (800) 277-5171.

Are specialty vehicles available?
Yes. The following classes of rental cars are listed as specialty vehicles by E-Z Rent A Car: Convertible, SUV, Premium Car. For these types of rentals, more strict procedures and rental policies apply. Review the posted Policies for the state in which you would like a reservation in order to view these restrictions.
How do I review / revise / cancel my existing E-Z Rent A Car Booking?
Search for your E-Z Rent A Car Reservation using your confirmation number, last name, and email address. If you made your reservation elsewhere, you will have to visit the original source of your reservation to make changes or to cancel. If you cannot remember your confirmation number, please call our Rental Car Reservations Toll Free Line at 1-800-777-5500.
How do I find the price of a rental car for my upcoming booked trip?
Visit our Car Rental Reservations page, enter your information including your pickup and return location and dates and times. Press “Search” and the pricing, including all required taxes and fees, will be shown for the various car classes that are available at the specified location for your search.
How do you classify a local renter?
Someone needing to rent who resides within 65 miles of the E-Z location where the rental transaction took place are subject to the Local Renter Policy.
Local renters (within 65 mile radius) must present a return flight segment of a round trip airline ticket or electronic ticket for a flight leaving from within the renting state.
Local renters (within 65 mile radius) who do not have a return airline ticket and wish to rent a car will be required to provide the following: Written proof of a current automobile liability insurance policy in the renter’s name covering injury to third persons or property.
If the rental agent can’t verify proof of insurance, the rental car reservation will be declined. Renters who are traveling on official government business, military leave, or with an approved CID number are exempt from the local renter policy.
Do you offer unlimited mileage?
Yes, unlimited mileage is available to renters, so long as the rental car does not travel outside of the Geographical Limitations set in the Policies of the location. Search for a rental car now.
How early do I need to return my rented vehicle?
First, give yourself plenty of time to return your rental car. The majority of airports advise you arrive 2-3 hours before your scheduled flight. While we pride ourselves on expediting the return, you may still need a few minutes to complete the return process. Your car will be checked for damage at the time of the return both by you and our representative. If there is damage, you may be required to fill out a damage report.
